Recognized as Rookie of the Year
DENVER, Colo., June 6, 2007 -
RFID-enabled asset management and supply chain solution provider Fluensee was named Rookie of the Year at the seventh annual Apex Awards, one of the nation's largest annual technology award events. Fluensee was selected for the Rookie of the Year top honor out of 115 total Apex Award nominations.
The Rookie of the Year award is bestowed by the CSIA (Colorado Software and Internet Association) on the most promising up and coming technology company that has been operating for 18 months or less and has developed a product or service that advances the market, demonstrates technical innovation and fulfills a market need.
Founded in fall 2005, Colorado-based Fluensee develops and implements RFID-enabled solutions that help companies to better track and manage their high-value assets (e.g. laptops, rental equipment, vehicles and containers). Several factors position Fluensee for success, including product and technology strength, an exceedingly experienced executive team, and the skyrocketing market demand for RFID. In the short time that Fluensee has been in business, it has achieved monumental revenue growth and a rapidly expanding customer and partner base.
"Winning the Rookie of the Year award is a tremendous honor," said Fluensee Founder and CEO, Tim Harvie. "We created this company to meet a great need for asset management that's affordable, efficient, easy to deploy and takes advantage of the most innovative technologies. This award affirms that Fluensee is making a difference as part of the local software community, and also helping to drive an industry evolution."
The CSIA Apex Awards showcase Colorado's advanced technology industry and serve to promote Colorado as a center for advanced technology development. Winners of the seventh annual Apex Awards were chosen by a judging panel comprised of high-tech industry experts.
